In the Roman army, all soldiers - from low ranks up to centurions - carried their gladius across the shoulder using a Baldric. The Roman Baldric Belt is  used to carry a weapon or drum. It supports weight more than the normal waist belts.
This Roman Baldric is made of approx. 3 mm thick cowhide. It features authentic brass fittings based on archaeological finds from the Roman castrum (fort/camp) of Zugmantel (Germany).
